Useful with an Airport Express, when Apple's Airport Utility doesn't see it.

Good app, but still doesn't support rfmon for passive scanning. In order to see ALL the networks, Kismac or kismet are your best bet.

So glad the dev updated this for Snow Leopard. Works well, looks like there's been some UI tweaks and it also uses location services so you can see base station coordinates on google maps.

Would be nice if it didn't crash all the time. This is what I get in the log:

2007-10-23 19:33:32.770 iStumbler (8026) *** -[NSConcreteNotification size]: selector not recognized [self = 0x3789a0]
(line above repeated dozens of times)

pretty good, but... take a look at KisMAC instead.

I can think of at least 3 apps this alone replaces (namely Macstumbler, Flame, and Bonjour Browser).
Very useful to have in your Utilities folder :)

I use it all the time when setting up wireless networks. Very useful!

Solid app, and the spectrum widget is a god send, even tho I can't stand widgets.

I was using MacStumbler until I read about this last week. My new stumbler of choice!
