Ivy Universal Binary

Version: 1.0RC1 || Release Date: 2006-10-20 || License: Freeware Developer: Improv, Pastence

Control iTunes
There are tons of controllers for iTunes out there, some are useless, some are great, but Ivy brings a new aspect to the market. Style.

Be Your Own DJ
Find any song in your library with the “Find Song” feature. This state of the art technology allows you to search your library for that one track by The Who and play it, all without going to iTunes.

Grrrrrr
Another advantage to using Ivy is that you can use the Growl notification system. Growl is one of the most innovative technologies in the industry, allowing both developers and users to connect using simple messages.

Sit Back, Relax
You don’t have to use Front Row to have a good time with friends. Use the Curtain feature to hide your cluttered desktop, or your top secret business plans. You’ll get info on what’s playing.

For those of you wondering what happened to this application, I am sorry to say that it has been discontinued.

I became too busy to continue development of Ivy and so therefore am pronouncing it, as much as I dislike the term, VaporWare.

However, for those looking for the same functionality, please check out Artwork (http://osx.iusethis.com/app/artwork). It's got most of the functionality of Ivy, with no bugs. It's also being developed by a dear friend of mine, so go and show him support on his first public app.

Dan

Developer of Ivy

P.S. Please don't take this as plugging Artwork, I'm merely trying to make up for the fact that I can't develop Ivy anymore.

There is a confirmed bug with the Curtain feature on Intel computers. The way of determining the users screen size doesn't work. This will hopefully be fixed in the next RC, or at the least, make Curtain work on Intel machines.

Sorry for the trouble,

Dan
