Description:
You probably know that Jonâs Phone Tool is a very versatile application. The JPT Contextual Menu (CM) allows it to be even better. This Contextual Menu plug-in allows you to select text in just about any application and then send it to JPT to dial. Once the JPT CM has been installed (use the included installer), simply highlight some text â” say a number on a webpage in Safari â” and Control-Click (or right-click if you have a multi-button mouse), and a contextual menu will appear. In this menu there is a submenu named âJPTâ. To send the selected text to JPT to dial, select âDial Selectionâ. When a number is sent to JPT this way, all of your JPT preferences will be respected. Alphabetical mnemonic numbers will be converted, your current Dialing Rules will be applied, and the call will be identified (local, domestic long distance, etc.) and dialed using the appropriate Dial Method for that call type.
