JSesh is basically a text editor capable of handling Egyptian Hieroglyphs. It is compatible with the HieroTeX package for LaTeX, making it easy to type hieroglyphs and then copy them and typeset them using LaTeX.

I guess the name comes from "j-" (for "Java") and "sš" ("(to) write" in Egyptian).

What can I say, it fulfills all my hieroglyphic needs down to a tee.

I do wonder about the name JSesh though, I mean, it doesn't entirely make me think of hieroglyphics, although it does strike up some equally odd thoughts. Anywho...
