After some initial crashes, a couple of relaunches and KeyCastr seems to be working fine. Nice for a free program.
I have exactly the same problem as mortimer, without the crash message though. Keycastr starts and displays keystrokes, but it is impossible to get to the prefs panel. running on 10.5.2. thanks
Very strange -- I will look into it when I have a chance.
KeyCastr was working fine for me last time I had to use it, but today, when I launch it, OS X tells me that it crashed. However, it's still running in the background as the overlay will appear fine. It's just impossible to get to the main window for the preferences.
Version 0.7.2 does in fact fix the problems mentioned by MacInfo below.
A neat little app and very usefull too!
Yet it doesn't show the "arrow" key symbols for me. I have been told by the developer that this will be fixed in the next version (v0.72), though.
Egh, not bloody useful to be Intel only. It's been rebuilt as a Universal app now. And my email address has been added to the KeyCastr site. And I'll fix my goofy blog comment script tomorrow.
This application is built for x86 systems only.
I couldn’t find an email address at the page so I added a comment to his blog and got an Internal Server Error back.
