It's true that Launchd Editor has a slightly less clunky interface, but it's much less functional than Lingon. And Lingon's interface isn't sooooo bad.
Launchd Editor would be much better if it supported the sort of high-level viewing of agents/daemons, both in user and system directories. But at this point I think I would suggest instead just working on Lingon instead. You could always package it with a polished up UI and continue to charge for it.
If you are the developer of an app, you can take control by using the claim
function on the right hand side of the app view. This requires you to be
logged in.

... and ugly as hell. This at least looks like a Mac app, and there's nothing saying you need to pay the $5.
Don't mean to bitch, but Lingon does the same thing. And it is free and open source.
