I tried out Vector Designer (got it with the MacHeist Bundle). Very similar to Lineform, but LineForm is a little more polished. Probably cos it's been around a little longer. Things like dragging images from the Media Inspector to the Image Fill box and adding/editing round corners on a box.

Filled a giant Illustrator shaped hole on my Macbook. Bought it within days of using it.

I've only been using LineForm for an hour, yet I've find it to be a very competent drawing app! I find Illustrator or Freehand to be a bit clunky and confusing to use, but LineForm on the other hand is simple and elegant. I was able to take a few logo concepts and quickly draw them up in LineForm, much quicker than I would've in the aforementioned apps.

I'll definitely keep trialling this and see how it goes. My first impressions though are extremely positive.

Well, now that I found a way to test it again: I definitely want to buy this ! It's small, fast and has a lot more features than it seems at first look. Just waiting for them to get back to me on my request to pay with Paypal.

I think they should change the limitations in the unregistered version to allow drawing but not saving. The way it is, I downloaded it a few months ago thinking I'll try it later. Now I can't do anything without registering (not even playing with it to see if I might want to register it).

This is an amazingly easy to use and competent vector drawing app. I've managed to integrate it into my workflow very quickly and at $80 it will pay for itself in no time at all.
