LinkThing for Safari
Safari extension that enhances how links open.
LinkThing is a Safari extension that enhances your control over how links on web pages are opened.
Features:
- Optionally open links in new tabs by right-clicking them. (You can still get the link's context menu by Control-clicking it.)
- Choose where to open new tabs when Command-clicking links: To the left of the current tab, to the right of the current tab, or at the end of the tab bar (the normal behavior).
- Have Safari open all links, or just offsite links, in new tabs by default (when you just click them normally). You can apply this setting globally or per-site.
- Optionally rewrite Google Image Search links so that clicking an image thumbnail will open the full-size image directly, and clicking the text link below a thumbnail will open the image's source page.
- Instantly add links to your Instapaper account by using a context menu command.
- Lightweight "pseudo status bar" option. Reveals the link URL in a small bar when you move the mouse over a link. You can hide Safari's status bar to save space without losing the ability to peek at link URLs.
Required OS: 10.6
