It's a very handy way to get Rails working in a hurry. And Androse, did you know you can use gem from inside the Locomotive terminal windows to install new gems into Locomotive?
Not to bash fink, I use it all the time. It's just that for some purposes, Locomotive is handier.
I used to use this, it's great to get your feet wet with rails, but if you're doing serious work, need to customise your installation (gems, etc), and stay up to date with RoR, I recommend installing Fink, and then with fink install imagemagick + ruby 1.8.4 + rubygems + svn-client, and then the gems you need (rails, capistrano, etc).
But thanks to the Locomotive developers, I had a great ride!
You can go directly to a tag by searching for 'tag:yourtag'. You can also
search within the apps tagged with that word by adding another word. For
example 'tag:browser plugin'.
