I use this to rip my NetFlix movies to my computer so I don't have to use the CDROM when on the plane, saving battery time. Movies end up being 4-8 GB and I dont have a lot of free space so its watch once then delete for me. So the only thing I could want is more compression. Also, some DVD's insert errors that make this app puke.

mac the ripper can only remove the protection from the original dvd, it can not rip dvd to mp4 avi and other videos to ipod iphone etc.. below is the guide:
