A front end to this app is MAME Library. Like he says on this site: "MAME Library is an iPhoto-like front end/ launcher for MAME OS X."

The addition of joysticks (via HID) finally makes this viable. Very well done, but desperately needs some kind of front-end. I know the developer does not wish to integrate one into the program, but at this point, it functions very well, but is not very usable.

Despite the usability problems, the author deserves praise for finally making a universal Mame port to OS X. Excellent job!
