MarsEdit

The best way to write, preview, and publish your blog.

Think Outside The Browser

Browser-based interfaces are slow, clumsy, and require you to be connected to the internet just to use them. Browsers are perfect for reading web content, but not so great for creating it.

If you're serious about your blog, you need a desktop blog editor. If you're lucky enough to have a Mac, nothing is more powerful or more elegant than MarsEdit.

Hi webdigr - lots of folks are using it :) I don't know why comments have been light here. Maybe everybody thinks enough has been said!

Strangely, there're no comments for the last 2 years, almost!
Have people stopped using this? or is there some better blog editor out there?

It's been my blogger app for two years now. And the new update (2.3) includes Tumblr support too.

Stable. Great features and support. :)

this is awesome and works nicely with blogger. only problem is that line breaks aren't translated properly in some instances.

Great application. Really makes it so much easier to manage your blog. Add in support for editing pages and I'm sold. :-)

this app -as someone else says - makes blogging as easy as sending emails - takes the pain out of keeping things up to date - and it avoids (i use wordpress) the temptation to endlessly tinker with themes and sidebars etc. as someone else said tho' if it could take care of pages as well as posts it would be near perfect.

really great application. makes keeping a blog tolerable - very fluid.

Tried this and liked it but it's a little short on features. i found ecto to have a better feature set but at the cost of a slightly less attractive interface. Ecto is also quite a bit cheaper.

The WordPress built-in editor liked to eat up, chew, and spit out weird things whenever I edited a post. I went looking for a solution and found this. Now I am happy. When the developer adds support for editing Pages as well as Entries, I'll be ecstatic.

The new Vox support is just yet another reason why I love this app.
