Definitely the best of its kind so far! I'd like to see integratoin for MAME inthere too.

I would buy it if they accepted paypal payments... (coming soon, as they always say). On a negative side I noted that when the network was down I couldn't launch the application. It just hangs there waiting forever for the network modules (IPTV and such) to initialize.

To remove anything from your preferenees, just option+click the icon and drag it out :-)

I tried to remove it and can't get rid of the icon out of system preferences, i also have some others 'stuck' in system preferences

The support for the apple remonte isn't that great i ended up clicking the up and down button too much because there is no support for smooth scrolling in 1.2.1 unlike 2.0. But i suggest getting Remote Buddy if your gonna fork over the cash for MediaCentral 2.0.

I love 1.2.1, and have bee using it for months now. I would love to get a mac mini for a media center with it. Tried the demo of 2.0 to see if it was worth the purchase, but would not work. It loaded and after the title screen the main screen would load and crash. Possibly because I use two monitors. Downgraded back to 1.2.1 until 2.0 is more stable.

It works OK on my G4 mini but can be pretty slow. I really wish it could play videos purchased in iTunes Music Store.

it's at version 2.0 now

Although I wish it had a bit more options for customizability, this beats front row by miles, the recent version even includes support for the apple remote.
