Best described as the ultimate companion to iTunes, Menuet adds important missing features and powerful additions. With Menuet installed, you'll be able to use time-saving control methods (hotkeys, menubar controls, and more), enjoy support for Last.fm (a collaborative service for music fans), a sleep timer, album art grabbing and more. Why wait for iTunes 7, 8, or 9 to enjoy these features? Download Menuet today and give it a try: you won't look back.

I used this application for the longest time, and gladly gave money to a charity when the change to charityware happened. But I was disappointed with its issues and cannot recommend it now that it is no longer in active development. I have since switched to Coversutra but have frequent problems with the growl support that workes so nicely in Menuet. Can't win them all I guess...

Haven't had any problems with this app. Use it all the time. Particularly like the last.fm integration... saves me having to load an additional "scrobbling" app.

Enjoy!

It crashed frequently, so I e-mailed the dev'. I got a prompt (and friendly) response and was informed the company was aware of an issue with last.fm integration. However, that was some months ago and there hasn't been an update/fix since.

I disabled last.fm integration not long after that e-mail, but the app still frequently crashes whenever I quit iTunes (requiring a force quit via Activity Monitor).

So, I'm considering CoverSutra, or another similar app as a replacement.

PS. It should noted the Menuet companion app, 'Art Collector', is quite useful.

Worthless.
Can't email the dev, crashes, no last.fm, huge footprint, spams the console log, crashes if iTunes isn't running.
Use Coversutra.

Haven't had any major problems with it, I love it for the usefullness and eye-candy. It does crash every now and then, but it's beta, so what can you say.

Only thing that's getting me is the endless nagging about Smart Crash Reports.

Frilly interface, two-click access instead of one-click access as in proper toolbar iTunes controllers, have to pay for it, slightly buggy interface and gets swept by expose. I'll take ByteController over Menuet any day of the week.

Not very useful if it doesn't manage to scrobble tracks listened to on an iPod (which the old iScrobbler manages to do). If they fix this, I may consider buying it....otherwise it's no more useful than using the old iScrobbler plugin and QuickTunes together (which combined, still use up less memory and cpu power).
Other than this, it IS the prettiest iTunes controller out there.
If they allow synced iPod tracks to be scrobbled, it would be perfect.

Love this application, haven't really had any problems and their album art grabbing software keeps improving w/ each version.
