I use Word and Excel daily at work. It's a love/hate thing. I love that I can use my Mac at work. I hate that I have to use Microsoft Office but the alternatives (NeoOffice) just didn't cut it for me.

Claimed all of my fonts were corrupted, not worth the hassle. Switched to NeoOffice - faster and suits all of my needs.

This was my security blanket when I bought my mac. I still suck on it from time to time; but knowing what i know now i would rather have spent the extra money on a faster mac!

For anyone whose life doesn't depend on this app, you don't need it. From a word processing side there are so many choices, even some of the small applications are surprisingly useful.

Vade retro, Microsofta!

I use NeoOffice instead. And TextEdit for most .doc correspondence.

Why i should use Office on a Mac, when there is NEOOFFICE and Parallels.

I am one of the few people that love using Office on a Mac.

I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how Microsoft managed to make a piece of software that is horrible on its own OS, but actually kind of sleek on a Mac. Entourage is a disaster and Keynote so much nicer than PowerPoint, but hey, just do what I did and only install Word and Excel

I hate his program, but I'm stuck with it. I work in editorial and I cannot waste the time to make sure that all the styles in my files have been properly applied when I import/export from iWork or NeoOffice. Any suggestions for getting me out of using this?

I only use Excel. What should I do?

I'm clicking this because it seems silly to add more apps, but I don't use office 2004 for mac, I use Word 2004 for mac and Entourage 2004.
