Opinions:
Cons:
- it's a memory hog application.
- slow and heavy since it's based on the XUL technology from Mozilla
- Not cocoa!
- has some weird issues with leopard
Pros:
- unlike iTunes it also enable you to watch and subscribe youtube channels
- has a very nice portal for browsing and picking up your favorite channels. I wish apple store has something pretty slick like this
Another update to miro and it still links to the Windows version. Will you puhleeeze get your shit together?
i'd like to use it, but it always hangs and bounces in the dock after installation or launching. so it doesn't even start for me :(
i know it's awesome though
The download link still points to the Windows version:

Hmmm. Looks like I'm still getting the windows version through the d/l link...

Download seems to point to the windows version...
Today, July 21st 2007, Miro is able to search videos in YouTube again.
(I wonder what happenned the last two days...)
For some reason, today Miro is not able to search any videos from YouTube. (Yesterday it worked OK.)
I have tried with the other websites included in the search field (Google Video, Dailymotion, blip.tv, etc.) and they all work perfectly. Searching in YouTube gives no result. Nothing at all!
I have been trying Miro and there are two little things that could make it even better:
1. When there are more than 20 videos in a search, it displays only the first 20. There's no way to access the other ones. (Or am I missing something?)
2. It would be nice if there was a field to insert the video URL (from those websites) and then play it.
Otherwise, it's excellent!
