7 Opinions:
This is the ONLY program that will easily handle 5.1 digital surround sound through an optical cable.
If you plug in a digital optical cable, it will change your sound output on your computer automatically and prevents volume adjustment so that the signal is sent raw to a receiver. It even suppresses sound from other programs to prevent any contamination of the raw data.
Simply beautiful, this player. Highly configurable (I like having keyboard shortcuts for rewind/FF) and stable as well.
Great App!
Just needs cropping feature for small window viewing.
0.5.1 Changes automatically translated from Korean are here.
The display of subtitles is very smooth. :)
NB: default encoding is Korean, I had to change it to western iso latin 1 so that special characters display properly for the video I tested.
Too bad the homepage is not english. Sounds interesting though, I'll give it a try.
What I really love about this one is ability to switch between QuickTime and FFmpeg based decoding on the fly. Also, thanks - to direct FFmpeg support - it plays MKV files much more smoothly than QuickTime/Perian combo.
Neat.
