i retract my previous comment. this product seems to be broken/abandoned for the time being... too bad.
you need to learn how to forward (or map) ports on your router, but once you've figured that out this program works like a charm!
Musicast 1.0 - 1.0.2 have all worked fine for me.
Minor problem: unlike earlier releases, 1.0.2 doesn't display my URL in the Preview window. (This may be a problem with my Linksys WRT54G v5 router, which has other troubles.)
I get my current IP address from the Network Stat widget and append ":5554".
Maybe your firewall blocks port 5554? Open it, then try localhost:5554. Nice app.
I could never get it to work.
