I wish this was more close to iSnip in its features; e.g. reachable from the menu bar, keeping a repository of clipboard items, and so on.

To me, this is the most universal and clean note-taking app I've seen (I've used them all). It doesn't have millions of distracting options, tons of tacky colors everywhere with drawers and buttons, it simply is an app that let's you organize and write. A distraction-free environment to keep every note you ever take, whether it's for class, writing a book, poetry, or simply day to day tasks. Highly recommended
