NetNewsWire is an easy-to-use RSS and Atom newsreader for Mac OS X. Its familiar three-paned interface similar to Apple Mail can fetch and display news from thousands of different websites and weblogs, making it quick and easy to keep up with the latest news.

The best thing I could say about this app is that it never gets in my way. It does what I need it to, syncs across many computers, and looks clean.

Best newsreader on any platform.

NewsFire came close, but after switching back-and-forth a few times, I've stuck with NetNewsWire, and couldn't go back.

NNW is the best feed reader out there. Whenever I try to download new RSS readers to test them out, I last about 30 seconds before trashing them and going back to NNW. If you're considering making the leap to the full version, I highly suggest it. For me, the big difference is being able to have custom refresh rates and persistence settings for every feed.

Best newsreader period...

NNW lite is all i need and it works flawlessly. never a problem, and it's free. thumbs up!
