My favorite feature is voice annotation; I use this to take notes in class, and it's super-helpful to have a recording right on the page with my notes in case I pass out from boredom. Search around online and you can find a discount code for it.

I use it to keep track of all the bits and pieces of hundreds of projects. Incredibly useful app. Runs much faster on Intel Mac than it did on my G4 (obvs!).

Great for taking notes in class, organizing for projects etc.

Its one of those things that become the centre of your computing life once you start using it. Outlining, picture/video organization, clippings, writing, ... anything except programming.

NoteBook is hands down the most beautiful and customized "notebook / journal" apps in the mac platform. The price may be a little high, but it's well worth it.

There are a zillion notebook applications out there for the Mac, and I've paid for far too many of them. I keep using CircusPonies NoteBook... not exclusively, but for certain tasks, it's superb.
