Nudge is a nice little tool that does one thing well - it "nudges" the finder to update the window when the finder has fallen behind (new files not appearing, etc). Right click and "nudge".

Confirmed, not really a problem on Tiger.
From what I have seen, Tiger's Finder should not need the help of Nudge, versions of Mac OS X prior to Tiger (10.3, 10.2, etc) most definitely had this problem.
