I've got my iMac in my bedroom and it's usually doing something as I'm going to sleep (music). This widget is simple and does exactly what I wanted.

Though tpalice noted that control+shift+eject works just the same!

I just need to turn off my iMac screen. So now I use this key combination: control+shift+eject .

Wow, what a great widget and I don't like the dashboard much. This now gives me an easy way to power off the cinema display attached to my mbpro quickly (without putting the computer to sleep, powering off, etc.)!! Great work!
