OmniGraffle

Version: 5.2.1 || Release Date: 2009-10-21 || License: Shareware ($99.95) Developer: The Omni Group | App Owner: arne

Create diagrams, flow charts, and more.

OmniGraffle helps you draw beautiful diagrams, family trees, flow charts, org charts, layouts, and (mathematically speaking) any other directed or non-directed graphs. We've had people use Graffle to plan plotlines for a story, make an overview of an operating system, show the evolution of computers, and even show how diseases can spread in a closed population. If you want to organize your thoughts, your projects, or even your friends graphically using boxes and lines, OmniGraffle is your tool.

Bit expensive, but really nicely implemented professional native OSX application that you will use for years. Can easily understand why most consider it as the goto vector drawing Visio alternative app on OSX.

If you find yourself needing to do nice looking diagrams on OSX then you should look at this if your budget allows.

Definitely worth the investment for anyone that wants to produce diagrams on the Mac. The stencils included in the app are enough to get anyone started but not out of this world. What convinced me to buy were some of the fantastic web and mobile design stencils at graffletopia.com.

Agreed! This is some of the best, most intuitive software I've ever used. SO worth the money.

It's definitely the fastest way to create the most beautifull diagrams. Working with OmniGraffle isn't work, it's just playtime!
I don't need it very much, but every time I can use it I love it.

Unique. The single killer hidden productivity tool I have.

I often use it for mocking up application interfaces before taking them into Interface builder. More permanent than diagrams on napkins.

The Omni guys rule!

This came free with my PowerBook, and I love it. It's so easy to make any kind of diagram whatsoever, which makes it the perfect addition to OmniOutliner for taking notes in class... anytime the Prof draws something on the board, I can copy down the drawing in a matter of seconds with OmniGraffle, and simply copy & paste it into my notes in Outliner. Couldn't be easier... and with the little extras like shadows, the diagrams look professional.

This is NOT freeware, but it does ROCK! =D
