Apple's word processing/page layout software. Easy to use and relatively inexpensive (includes the excellent "Keynote" program in the price). Might not replace Word or InDesign but is terrific for making academic posters for conferences.

I use this for all my word processing. I hated word for the mac and it only squeeked by for me on the PC. It does excellent layout and has many features without forcing them onto you. I would agree that tables sometimes run extraordinarily slow on my powerbook G4. I have to circumvent that by copying slow tables into a new pages doc and that usually fixes them. I am very pleased with this program overall.

It sometimes crashes on me. But I personally favor it over the MS products since it does exactly what I want and I have fewer of the 'WTF are you doing?' -experiences.

It's a weird hybrid of page layout and word processing. I use it more to do paghe layout - letters, my CV and so on.

I bought it when it was announced but have never used it.

It's not that bad, but sometimes It sucks, especially when working with tables.

Use it for all my word processing now
