Doesn't work with intel macs
I used this in Safari before Adobe updated the Acrobat plugin for Mac OS X. Now I use it in Firefox, where the Acrobat plugin doesn't work. It's not as slick as the Acrobat plugin, but it's fast and functional.
A little buggy (redraw problems on some types of scrolling mostly - doesn't affect all systems) and doesn't have any search ability nor text selection (which are pretty important features).
Still highly usable for read-only as it includes a handy Save button so you can easily pop the file into another PDF viewer like Preview, Adobe Reader or full version of Acrobat (which itself is just so-so anyway)
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC little app. Get rid of the buggy/slow/large adobe acrobat plugin.....and get this streamlined one instead.
superb and a must have
I loved this utility until I upgraded to a MacBook Pro. Now it doesn't work at all. I still consider myself a user in the hope that an Intel-compatible version will exist soon.
I really wish there were a universal binary of this plugin!
not as feature-laden as the Acrobat Reader browser plugin, but loads much faster. essential for viewing PDFs in non-webkit browsers like Firefox or Camino, and free for not-for-profit home and education use (a site license for business use is $69).
