(About one hour after my previous post...)
Version 1.0.6 is already in the Peel's website for download.
I have tested for a brief minutes and it seems to work well with Leopard.
Version 1.0.5 is not compatible with Leopard.
Version 1.0.6, compatible with Leopard, is alresdy available. But it had to be removed from the website because it did not work with Tiger.
Maybe the developer could post both: 1.0.5 for Tiger and 1.0.6 for Leopard.
Really great stuff. Blows Songbird out of the water. Mostly, because it actually works.
I know the developer. Super awesome guy. I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself using his application on its own merits, not because I know the guy.
Peel + select MP3blogs = saved my life
Not kidding.
Also, you can get an amazing list at: http://hypem.com/toplist
I was writing an Automator script to download mp3 songs from mp3blogs but this so beats that. Amazing tool. I hope it will be released as freeware or opensource!
Peel is great; before discovering it, I had a long list of mp3 blogs in a folder on Bloglines. Now that folder is no more, and I get to listen to mp3s before downloading them.
Absolutely fabulous!
No need to search each blog day after day to look for new music. Peel does it for you.
There are a few bugs yet, but I know this is still a beta version. For example, I have specified the desktop as the downloads folder, but Peel insists in creating a folder (named after each blog) inside the Documents folder.
Nevertheless, it's a great piece of software.
Great timesaver if you are into mp3 blogs,
Amazing
