Photo Grabbr

Version: 1.4 || Release Date: 2009-06-03 || License: Freeware Developer: Vince Tagle | App Owner: norz

Photo Grabbr can download photos from any flickr user, either by set, or all of them.

The preferences include:
- which size photos should be saved at, going from square and thumbnail to original size.
- whether the photo title should be used as filename.
Photo Grabbr can be authorized for your flickr account.

Currently this is the only app that saves flickr photos, afaik.

Requirements:
Mac OS X 10.4 or better.
Flickr account (optional).
Growl (optional).

@brunofr : According to the history notes, v1.31 does respect the Flickr API terms of when not to download.

not work

flick API is expired

I've been looking for an app that can backup my pictures from flickr (hundreds of 'em), and this seems to work.

The app has a limited set of functions, but contrasted by the competition this one seems to do what is supposed to do well.

Does this app give any thought to respecting copyrights on flickr photos?

Other similar apps:
- Flickr Backup only saves your photos, not other users' photos or sets.
- FlickrFaves only saves your favorite photos.

Bug?
- I couldn't save my own private photos with Photo Grabbr, even after having authorized: there was a progress bar, but only empty directories created, and no photo saved.
