Create 128×128 icons from your pictures. Pic2Icon is a program that creates beautiful 128×128 Mac OS X icons for your pictures. Simply drop pictures or folders full of pictures onto the application and it will start creating icons. These icons will be applied to the pictures, so you can browse through them in the finder and you will be able to identify them without having to open them!

hasn't been updated in forever but amazing for creating icons for a folder of images, jpgs etc. sometimes it produces blank icons. irritating. wish there was a newer update. FastICNS 3.1 is the other one i'm using but it doesn't currently support a queue or progress bar or working with subfolders

Brilliant and easy to use.
Going into to prefs and tweaking allows you to create icons for ANY image.
Yes, you CAN do the same manually if you want, but if you're lazy like me, then this will save you a whole lotta time.
