Platypus is a clay world, shooter action game. The vast, continent-spanning city of Collosatropolis has finally reached the limits of its expansion. Tall buildings cover every available space. The air is thick with smoke and poisonous chemicals. Parking is a nightmare.

Collosatropolis has invaded the peaceful land of Mungola! All that stands between you and complete destruction is an antique aircraft called Platypus!

@kitmos : the game is supported by http://www.retro64.com though they are not the original author

This may be a great program. Unfortunately it won't run on a PowerMac G4 or an Intel Mac and I have unable to contact the author.

Pretty cool... surprisingly hard too, but it has that "I KNOW I can beat it if I try again" feel that keeps me playing the good games like this.

I got it through MacZOT with two other apps for 6.95. I'm not sure if it's worth 20, but I have to admit they did a fantastic job with the clay modelling of everything in the game. That took a lot of work, and they did it phenominally well.

Not to be confused with the Platypus that creates apps out of scripts, which is also great.
