I use this for live performance in a band. Its organ sounds are topnotch.

Stunning softwre synthesis and sequencing. I was a bit wobbly when I moved to an MBP from a PB because there was no official news on a Universal Binary, but since then 3.0.5 has come out and it really flies. I had racks set up with Combinators that would bring my old PB to its knees if I wanted to preview the audio, however, on the MBP I never seem to have to worry about CPU usage.
