rEFIt is a boot menu and maintenance toolkit for EFI-based machines like the Intel Macs. You can use it to boot multiple operating systems easily, including triple-boot setups with Boot Camp. It also provides an easy way to enter and explore the EFI pre-boot environment.

this is a great utility, I use it for triple booting (leopard, xp and ubuntu). The only problem is that this thing made Undercover completely useless on my mbp... I hang around too much with my mbp and some security is needed, in rEFIt site it says they will add some more options (like password, configuring a default partition etc...) I really hope it doesn't take too much. If I really didn't need triple boot I wouldn't use it, and for those who have security programs like Undercover and don't really need triple booting, I advice u 2 avoid rEFIt for now

Apple seem to have switched to a new EFI format with the latest Mac Book Pro systems. This product doesn't seem to run on these systems.

Love this app, saved me a lot of hassle on Linux installations, syncing the MBR and everything... developers deserve a lot of credit!
