This is from the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at MIT's Media Lab. I understand it was developed on the Squeak platform - an implementation of Smalltalk. This has to be the best teaching / playing tool for young programmers that I've seen yet. Ubercool.

The scratch folx took logo(turtle graphics) and made it way easier to use - no need to memorize a programming language, it's all visual. It even comes with a built in drawing program and sound recording. My kids think this thing is great.
