SharePoints is an application or a preference pane that makes it easy to add and delete share points like in the old Finder. In Mac OS X, by default, you are limited to sharing only what is in your public folder in your home directory. This program makes it easy to share any folder.
In addition SharePoints also brings back users and groups management to Mac OS X as well as easy configuration of AppleFileServer (AFS) and Samba (SMB) Server properties.

Can block some files from being accessed by windows users. This is useful for .DS_Store files. I haven't found how to block the 'Icon^M' files though.
NB: files can also be hidden (via the hidden attribute) instead of being blocked.
More info in this book: 'Using Samba'.

Haven't been able to get it working under 10.5.1, nor can I get Leopard's sharing to work with my PC network, so I miss it!

Will have to try 10.5.2 I guess.

WOW! it's been a year I was searching a tool like that and finally here it is !

Man! This is as simple as it can be. Thank you.

yes complicated. i tried clicking as little as possible though and guess what? I created share points that XBMC can see!

Massive kudos for the idea and for making this a freeware application but the interface is way too complicated for my liking - i'm back at editing config files.
