If you enable The "beta Codec" in the optional settings you will have the most advanced video conferencing that is available. PC magazine says that this coded that is in beta right now is superb and that is much better than Skype Video (obviusly in PCs) as missing for Mac.
It works very well when you do a Mac-Pc conference. The interface is exactly the same in the PC and the Mac. This means that the interface is not very Mac like but it has the advantage that is easy to configure your mother´s sighspeed in a PC by phone.!
Until Skype gets video on Mac, this is the one to use, especially if you need to do videoconferencing with PC users and they don't want their computer to be taken over by AIM!
