SiteSucker is a Macintosh application that automatically downloads Web sites from the Internet. It does this by copying the site's Web pages, images, backgrounds, movies, and other files to your local hard drive. Just enter a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) and click a button and SiteSucker can download an entire Web site.

I love this app. I just works. I use it to backup client's HTML websites before I switch them to Wordpress.

It also lets me backup sites without needing FTP which is a big plus if a client is switching away from an unfriendly web guy.

One of the few apps I have donates $ to.

There's also HTTrack, available as a Fink package:

I used it when I was on Windows, and it worked great, although sometimes a bit tricky to set up.

Very easy to use, and thanks to Rick Cransky for making it free.
