Snippet Monkey saves you countless hours monkeying around by allowing you to create shortcuts for phrases you frequently type. We call the phrases snippets and Snippet Monkey allows you to create new snippets from the clipboard or via our easy to use snippet editor.

- Date and time in a format of your choice

Just thought I'd mention, the persistent shortcuts issue has been fixed.

A handy app, managing snippets is easy, and works well with most of the apps I happened to have installed.

One odd point though, is that the shortcuts continue to be active even after they've been deleted from the manage snippets window, although it's possible to overwrite their original contents by re-adding them and restarting the app. Another minor thing, the image pasting doesn't work in Thunderbird (it's fine in Mail, so it might just be a stray case).
