Some Chess is a pure PHP Chess server using a MySql database as a backbone. Because it uses only PHP it is accessible even to the folks without java or javascript access. Some Chess can be set up as an invite only system (the default) or as a system with an open registration.

The pleasant design, pure PHP, ease of installation/update, and membership system make Some Chess unique among multi-player chess servers.
