This little Java Application takes a folder of images and sorts all the pictures into a target folder sorting them by date the picture was taken.
The pictures will be stored in folders for year/month/day and get renamed to the date_time where the pictures was taken.
These informations are extracted from the EXIF-Information of the pictures. The application also stores most picture information into a MySQL-Database along with the MD5-Sum of the file. So a picture can be identified by it's MD5-sum without watching the actual image.
This is great for automatic duplicate finding.
