Sproing
Sproing is a soft-body simulator. By connecting "nodes" with virtual "springs", one can create objects of all kinds that bounce around your screen realistically.
Sproing is currently a beta. Included in the download are a few sample objects to play with. To get started, open up one of the files and click "Preview" in the toolbar. Drag around the points that make up the object and watch it bounce around.

I found it. It's a wonderful app.
I get a little bit of glitching when obkects slide along my window, but otherwise it's a very smooth app on my MBPro as well. My only qualm is with the lack of instructions. Specifically, I'm reffering to the sidebar shown in the screen cap. How do you use that??
Excellent. If you love soda, you'll like this. It's soo smooth (and uselessly cool) on my Macbook pro.
