My Samsung 37" B530 wouldnt work at the best resolution if wasnt SwitchResX. I could easily change the hertz related to the external monitor to 59 instead of 60, and it worked perfectly!!! This prefpane totally worth the price.

Without this tool I wouldn't be able to use my Mac Mini with my tv.
