Synergy2
Version: 1.3.1 ||
Release Date: 2006-07-19 ||
License: GPL
This multi-platform application allows OSX, Windows, and Linux computers to share a single keyboard, mouse and clipboard. It is very handy for developers who are testing on multiple platforms. Functionally, you can configure how the monitors are situated, and then simply move the mouse cursor off the screen from one OS to another.

oh snap! rino i just noticed this wasn't the preference pane. I'm with him, the preferencepane all the way, SynergyKM
Actually I do not use this! I use instead the PrefPane you can find here:
http://software.landryhetu.com/synergy/
Why use the PrefPane instead of the GUI application? Memory. The application here, Synergy2 uses ~28mb of RAM, and the synergy libraries use ~10mb. The PrefPane uses only ~2mb.
Less RAM usage is great for these little utilities. Not to knock this effort -- it's just too large for my tastes.
I absolutly love this app. It takes my computing experience to the next level.
HOW I USE IT:
Essentitally I have two 19'' monitors side-by-side. One connected to a Mac Box and the other to a PC. And yet even with two different computer I can scroll my mouse across the edge of one screen onto another!!! It even saves your Copy-&-Paste across computer!!!!
That is to say, you can control a PC from your mac using this. Not so with teleport.
Marcus, Synergy2 is a mac GUI for Synergy, Synergy is available for Linux, Windows and OS X. I believe teleport only works between two macs.
This one seems a lot similar to teleport except it's free. Which one is better? :)
Awesome app. I can use my iMac even when I'm on my iBook. Sweet.
