Lovely terminal application. Check out Blurminal if you want to make it even prettier. I'd love to see Chrome-style tabs, see e.g. http://johnwickerson.wordpress.com/2011/02/12/chrome-style-tabs-for/
Is an excellent terminal emulator. Can be customized to great extent with the use of Blurminal(http://osx.iusethis.com/app/blurminal) and TerminalColors(http://ciaranwal.sh/2007/11/01/customising-colours-in-leopard-terminal).
Leopard's Terminal lacks 256 color support and makes certain key combinations difficult or impossible, but is otherwise superior to every other option.

does anyone know if there's a way of automatically opening directories when the app stars?

switched back from iTerm as of Leopard.. thanks Apple!

Terminal 2.0 is my #1 reason to get leopard. I can't find a better term app on any other platform (linux included).
I love this app...can do anything with it!!
If you love Terminal, Visor adds the ability to have it always near but hidden. So wicked.
This app is really totally amazing. Colour scheme customisation, emulation, drag and drop, infinite buffer, unicode... With Terminal you have it all.
It's a nice terminal, really. Look once upon the hideousness that is Window's Command Prompt, and you'll see what I mean.
GO UNIX! W00t.
