I'm a long-time BBEdit user and have tried TextMate but I have to admit that I don't get the appeal. Could someone post the main reasons they've switched from BBEdit to TM? I'd like to know what I'm missing.
This is one of the reasons I bought a Mac (switching from PC).
Best text-editor. Smultron is the best free one, but this is the best overall.
Couldn't live without it
I switched from VIM for this. Best editor hands down.
The best editor for Mac OS X out there.
Best editor ever, for any OS. Can't handle coding in Windows at all now.
This is the best text editor I have ever used. I only use BBE for diff-ing files now. If anybody knows a good way to do this using TM, please let me know.
I'm a long-time BBEdit user, but after trying TM for a few minutes I was hooked. I haven't used BBEdit since then.
Best text editor ever. I miss it when I must work on another OS. I mean I write and post my blog stuff with it.
