TinyAlarm is, as the name suggests, a tiny alarm clock for your menubar. It will play your chosen alert at some time in the near future. All of the configuration is done using the status menu item. Clicking around should reveal all there is to know about TinyAlarm.

I start it automatically on login also. A lot of timer apps are there so you can wake up to your iTunes, etc... Not what I wanted, so I found TinyAlarm. TinyAlarm simply uses one of your system sounds to notify you instead. Has a cute & functional alarm-setting UI, and the menubar icon itself reflects how long until the alarm goes off. Nice stuff.

I start this app automatically with every boot and have it running in the background. It's perfect for setting reminders so you don't burn food or miss stuff.
