Yes. On the Toon Boom site is an introductory offer at $699.99. The $999.99 price listed here is the regular price. There's a pdf in the News section saying the launch price is valid until December 25, 2008. There is also a cross-grade launch price from Toon Boom Studio at $399.99 which I decided to take advantage of after messing about with the PLE for a while. Although TBS users need to be aware that TBS files are NOT compatible with Animate. Something to do with different teams creating the software. This is more like a cut back version of Digital Pro.
