Transmit

Version: 4.4.2 || Release Date: 2013-09-10 || License: Shareware ($34) Developer: Panic | App Owner: cabel

The ultimate Mac OS X FTP + SFTP + S3 app

Transmit is an excellent FTP (file transfer protocol), SFTP, S3 (Amazon.com file hosting) and iDisk/WebDAV client that allows you to upload, download, and delete files over the internet. With the most Mac-like interface available, Transmit makes FTP as simple, fun, and easy as it can possibly be.

I have been working with transmit for about a week and I love how you can edit a file right with transmit and the snycing features are great too. What I love about this ftp is the droplets I find them so convient when I want to transfer a file all I have to do it drag and drop it right over the droplets and poof it is on the server. Probably one of the best use of tiger technology and one of the best interfaces I have seen.

i have registered both this and Interarchy. i love Transmit and its familiar interface. i don't think it's overhyped at all; in fact all glowing reviews are right on the money...Transmit is an awesome FTP app. and FTP droplets rock!

My favorite FTP Client. Works great with text editors like bbedit and dreamweaver. There are free clients but these guys are always innovating and as a web developer. It's nice to see someone trying to make my life easier.

Overhyped, in my opinion. There are some far more worthy alternatives.

I've also been using (and paying for) Transmit back in the OS9 days. And it just seems to get better with time.

The Syncing abilities are what do it for me.

Transmit is a very nice application. But I think I have found one that is even better. Give Interarchy a spin.

Command J and the Droplets make it worth every penny.

I have paid for this app since v1 on OS 9. The fastest client to connect to any server. You must learn to use DockSend, Droplets, and linked folder navigation.

This is one of thos apps that I simply can't live without. Fetch who?!?
