Dashboard widget to shorten URLs

tr.im.it grabs the URL from the frontmost tab of your browser. Click "Trim It" and it uses the tr.im API to shorten the URL and copy it to the pasteboard.

@bitnix , I've emailed with the guys at tr.im and they requested the same feature. It's on my list for 2.0, so hang in there. :-)

This is great (never heard of the service before), but I wonder; it doesn't seem like you can use your login/password at tr.im—will that ever enter the widget's feature set?
