Works decently on a Mini Core Solo (2gbram), however sometimes it can take a few minutes to update large newsgroups (several million articles) and bring those windows to the front. Not surprising given my lower end mac ;)
I really like being able to preview files. For images, gives a page of thumbnails and for audio theres a play button.
It is an excellent news browser and works great for downloading binaries. Is also compatible with .nzb files.

There are two apps named Unison. I use the file synchronization tool ( http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/docs.html ) which I find to be by far the best & fastest file synchronizer - much better than rsync, since it syncs both ways.

With Thoth now permanently mothballed, I gave Unison a try. It felt like an iApp, nice to use but pretty limited in functionality. If you're just getting your feet wet in Usenet, this would be a pretty good app; me, I'm sticking with Thoth, at least until Unison catches up.

cream of the crop. this app is so far ahead of the competition it's not even funny. elegant, slick, and developers (PANIC) are fantastic people. HIGHLY recommended!
