The Unarchiver is better, but I keep this around for passworded RAR files. If you like this I recommend trying The Unarchiver:

Still used because, unfortunately, Unarchiver cannot handle any passworded .rar files (the favourite file type of torrents)...I know because I have .rar files that Unarchiver won't open, but UnRarX will.

Until it does this is UnRarX still on my hardrive.
Stuffit Expander for .sitx, .arc, .arj, .mime, .as, .cpt, .ync
UnRarX for .rar
Unarchiver for everything else :)

Used to use this, but now The Unarchiver really kicks this app's ass.

If you use recovery records or par2 when archiving to optical discs this application is unbeatable. Only then will you appreciate the true power of this app. Must have.

very fast and very useful (esp. for those downloaded torrents...most of which are usually rar'd rather than zipped/stuffed)

UI is kinda screwy. But once you get used to it, it's awesome. It's also easily the fastest unraring app.

The interface is so ugly, I suggest Rar Expander instead..

Extremely fast rar app. Lightweight and minimal.
